The Barcelona Tourism Observatory presents the monthly report on the Profile and Habits of Tourists in Destination Barcelona

The number of tourists who visited Destination Barcelona during June has continued to rise thanks to the easing of restrictions to contain the Covid-19. Noteworthy is the recovery of international tourism, especially in Barcelona city (62.3%).

The typical tourist profile in Destination Barcelona remains quite similar to the previous months: a 37.3-year-old person, who has traveled for leisure (56.6%), as a couple (41.5%) and who has visited the destination municipality 19.3 times on average.
